The Global Rock Showcase is the original Punky Reggae Ska Dubb Party with Funky Metallic and Hiphop segments mixed in sometimes. This is the foundation concert brand of its kind. It doesn't matter if the Global Rock Showcase brand is imitated underground or overground from Ventura - Cali to Wilmington - NC.; actually -- it is quite flattering to see hedz exploit the concept. It is even more flattering when pillars like Billboard Magazine acknowledged dubbing Global Rock a "...crossbreed...;" June 30, 2005, CNET TV tagged Live Aid Concert "New Global Rock Concert"; and sweeeeet to see music publishing giant BMI bringing a "...Global Rock Scene..." to its Lollapalooza Stage August 3-5, 2006, in Chicago - IL, USA. D.I.A's Global Rock Showcase is the profound musical revolution forever on!! Music cannot go beyond "Global Rock" on this Third Stone From The Sun. Go tweet that to Barbara Walters and Brian Williams and tell them to file Global Rock in their musical lexicon!

Global Rock Showcases have infiltrated pro-venues small and big. From the Muse in Nashville - TN, the Viper Room, West Hollywood, California to Red Rocks Amphitheater, Red Rocks/Denver - Colorado, and Highline Ballroom - NYC (with bad bwoy Eek-A-Mouse, and HR & Dubb Agents. Bigups to Sister "Bam Bam" Nancy (class act), the original rudie toaster deejay from the ska-rocksteady-early reggae golden era -- Dennis Alcapone, RonKat Spearman (P-Funk Allstar), Weapons Of Mass Persuasion, Tinga Stewart, Jr. Demus, etc. And last but not least Todd "Stereocell".

To paint a vivid picture of the colorful genre of Global Rock, here are some of our favorite Global Rock crews: Bob Marley, Paul Simon, Bad Brains, Fuego, 24-7 Spies, Sublime, Fishbone, Ronkat Spearman, Thievery Corporation, Dennis Alcapone, Skatalites, P.O.D., Korn, Beastie Boys, Run DMC, Body Count, Super Cat, Roguish Armament, Matisyahu, King D'Jango, Koolie Ranks, Shabba Ranks, NOFX, Slightly Stoopid, Expendables, Dubb Agents, DumpstaPhunk, Aggrolites and all Silverback crews, No Doubt, Jack Ruby, Jr. etc. The list goes on.

This Is Global Rock Radio - GRR​owlingz. We are building to go to a prime mainstream radio dial and across the World Wide Web. The main agenda is to play recordings from punk, reggae, alt. hiphop, ska and alternative/underground sounds from bands/artists such as artists on the WCDB 90.9. FM Albany - NY, DJ Sir Walford Productions​ segment.

Although sporadic or occasional at the moment Global Rock Radio is GRRowling again!! But first -- the very first Global Rock Radio 2-part program was produced for KPFZ - 104.5 FM (then) in Lucerne -- California June 5, 2002, at then Ed Robinson's Tiftam -- yes Ed Robinson's Tiftam Recording Studio in 2001. Universal! A couple of years after the KPFZ GRR series, Global Rock Radio GRRowled via the internet. Shows were 1/2 hour segments featuring an artful blend of Ska, Punk, Blues, Reggae, Funk, Hiphop and Metal, etc., via Myspace. It was Gong's Punky Reggae Party evolving into the Punky Reggae Ska Dub Party with Metal and Hiphop mixed in at times. Those who have listened know the flavor. And big thanks to all radio jocks and artists who contributed drops to the streaming Global Rock Radio.

We ain't gonna give the ultimate plan away yet. But a component of the plan is to play music conventional and even college radio is not playing. So please spread the word. We need at least 20,000 likes/friends to make an impact. That would be awesome. Let us give radio an adrenaline boost with some gritty organic programming.
